Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe/Kampala

Day 2: Travel to Kasese

Day 3-8: Rwenzori Mountains Trek via Central Circuit (Nyakalengija to Nyabitaba camp, Nyabitaba camp to John Matte camp, John Matte to Bujuku hut, Bujuku hut to Elena hut, and then Kitandara hut back to your final destination).

Day 9: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 10: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Day 11: Leisure Day in Bwindi

Day 12: Return to Entebbe/Kampala

Day 1Arrival in Entebbe/Kampala

Upon arrival, you will be met by our guide who will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel where you will spend the day resting and preparing for your upcoming adventure.

Dinner and overnight at 2 friends hotel

Day 2Travel to Kasese

Enjoy your breakfast and embark on your journey to Kasese, the gateway to the Rwenzori Mountains. This journey can take several hours by road, therefore you will enjoy your enroute lunch. Continue with your journey arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight in Kasese.

Day 3-8Rwenzori Mountains Trek via Central Circuit

Enjoy your breakfast and embark on a 6-day trek via the Central Circuit route in the Rwenzori Mountains. This trek will start from Nyakalengija trail head and trek till Kitandara hut.  The trek offers stunning scenery, diverse flora and fauna, and a challenging but rewarding experience. Explore the central circuit and finally descend to Nyakalengija hut which will mark the end of the trek.

Day 9Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Rise up very early in the morning, enjoy your breakfast pack up your luggage  and embark on your journey   to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This journey can take  quite a long time  by road, so plan accordingly. Arrive in the evening, enjoy your dinner and overnight.

Day 10Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Enjoy your breakfast and drive to the park headquarters where you will be given rules and regulations of trekking gorillas. You will then be divided into groups  of 8 who will enter into the jungle and start the trekking. Once you come across these primates, you will be given a maximum time of over 1 hour with them as you are having fun and taking photos. Return to the lodge for lunch and then you can choose to go for an evening community walk or rest. Diner and overnight at Rushaga gorilla Harvens lodge.

Day 11Leisure Day in Bwindi

Eat your early morning breakfast and enjoy a leisurely day in Bwindi, perhaps exploring the surrounding area, visiting a local community, or simply relaxing at your accommodation.

Day 12Return to Entebbe/Kampala

Enjoy your breakfast, pack up your luggage and travel back to Entebbe/Kampala for your departure flight or onward journey. This will mark the end of your safari

What is cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is designed to be as flexible and understanding as possible. If you need to cancel your trek for any reason, here’s what you can expect:

1. More than 30 days before departure: You can cancel your trip for a full refund, minus a small administrative fee to cover processing costs.
2. Between 15 to 30 days before departure: We offer a 50% refund of the total trip cost, as we may have already incurred costs on your behalf.
3. Less than 15 days before departure: Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund as we will have committed resources to your trek by this time.
