Kasese Airstrip

Led by experienced guides, expect to encounter unique flora and fauna, marvel at stunning vistas, and immerse yourself in the wild beauty surrounding this UNESCO World Heritage site.
Arrive in Kasese, the gateway to the Rwenzori Mountains, either by road from Kampala or by air to Kasese Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore Kasese town or relax at your lodge.
Overnight stay in Kasese.
After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Rwenzori Mountains National Park. Explore the park’s diverse ecosystems, including montane forest, bamboo zones, and alpine meadows. Visit Mahoma Falls and take a nature walk in the lower slopes of the mountains. Learn about the park’s flora, fauna, and conservation efforts.
Return to Kasese for overnight stay.
Enjoy your breakfast and take a guided community walk in a nearby village. Interact with local communities, learn about their way of life, and participate in cultural activities such as traditional dances and crafts. Enjoy a traditional Ugandan meal prepared by locals. In the afternoon enjoy your lunch , visit the Ruboni Community Craft Center to see local artisans at work.
Drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Kasese.
After breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Arrive at your accommodation and check in. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
Evening game drive en-route to your lodge.
Overnight stay at Elephant hab.
Early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, offering the chance to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, and more. Transfer to the Ishasha Sector, known for its tree-climbing lions. Afternoon game drive in search of the iconic tree-climbing lions.
Return to your accommodation for overnight stay.
Enjoy your morning tea and Depart Queen Elizabeth National Park transferring to Kibale Forest National Park. Arrive at your lodge and check in. Enjoy your lunch and in the afternoon, take a guided nature walk in Kibale Forest, home to a variety of primates including chimpanzees.
Optional: Visit the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for birdwatching.
Overnight stay in chimpanzee forest guest house.
Enjoy your morning tea and drive to the park headquarters for a briefing on the rules and regulations of tracking chimpanzees. You will then enter into the jungle and start the tracking. Once you come across these chimpanzees, you will be given a maximum time of over 1 hour with them as you are having fun and taking photos.
Return to the lodge for lunch and check out.
Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe for departure, marking the end of the safari.
